Program #72, Podcast #35: Elsplend Realities, Nigeria, brought to you by #podmatch.
Elo was a charming and inquisitive interviewer, armed with a lovely and eloquent intro and outro which I appreciated very much.
We talked of Zaidy's War, and you never know where an interview takes you. We didn't even get into all the war details; instead we focused in on the man that my grandfather was, the lessons he taught, the inspiration he provided, and the takeaways of his long, and good, and accomplished life.
Zaidy's War seems to not just be a war story, nor just a Never Again caution tale, but also a life-lesson treatise and positive-force guide through non-toxic masculinity and maximum personhood.
Benzion Malik was amazing, and I'm thankful for opportunities to tell his odyssey from so many fruitful, thoughtful, educational angles.
