I had the extreme honor of presenting Zaidy's War to Jewish War Vets in Freehold, NJ for their Yom HaShoah program.

I leaned into the WAR part of the book, as I had a rapt audience who had a deep understanding of Zaidy’s experience.

Everyone was friendly, accommodating and attentive, and when it was over, Commander Jack Small presented me with a plaque commemorating my contribution. I was floored and touched, and it was a spectacular birthday present.

So if you’re wondering what I did on my birthday, it was, well, this, because the mission can never stop, and I’ll talk wherever, and whenever, any time.
