Dominic was an inquisitive, interested, interesting, intriguing interviewer, with whom I prepped for specific kinds of questions, but found ourselves going way off script - which was more than welcome.

Once the broad details of Zaidy's War were laid out, we dove into the "set-pieces" (as I call them), and particularly with the cannibalism episode.

That particular facet of Zaidy's survival story is sometimes on the table, and sometime off, and I've worked out the language to the point where I can minimize the triggering effect.

It wasn't all we focused on, of course. Dominic walked me through the enthralling events of Zaidy's endurance journey, and helped me frame the Never Again message I carry with me.
