I had a marvelous time talking with Samuel about Zaidy's War. He, like many other recent podcasters, preferred to dig into the Zaidy part of the story, rather than the War, whilst pointing listeners to the War part to discover it themselves. I like it. I like every angle. I like pushing to the surface Zaidy's lessons and his humanity. I like that a major part of him courses through me, and I'm proud to be his amplifier.

As an aside, this was my 11th podcast of the year, tying my annual high, with 6 more on the docket. I'm a traveling storyteller, yes I am, and I've always wanted to be one.
