Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. I am honoring it by guesting later on "The Making of Me" podcast.

In truth, if I was to trace "The making of me" as an author, all roads point back to my grandfather, R. Benzion Malik, the subject of Zaidy's War. He told me the story of his life when I was single-digits years old, and a seed was planted. I knew, then, that I would one day tell his story, and the story of our family, so that we would remember.
