Yesterday, April 19, was my birthday, and it was a wonderful one. I started with a (5.1 mile, as appropriate) morning run, then had a lovely breakfast with my nuclear family, then delivered a book talk to Jewish war vets (where I received a commemorative plaque that blew my mind), then had dinner with extended family. Throughout, I got cards, gifts (Cufflinks! Books!), check-ins from all over the place, and a perpetual question: "What do you want for your birthday?"
Easy: what I *want* want want is continued health and contentment and prosperity for my family, friends, every good person in my life, and my people; what I *want* want is cufflinks and books; but what I *want* is for folks to avail themselves to my books:

And once these folks are done enjoying my books, I'd love if they left their good thoughts about them here:

And/or here:

And once these fine folks have enjoyed my books and given them a good word or three, I wouldn't mind at all if they gave their votes to any/all of my haggadot here:

And finally, it would be wonderful if I could get some votes for Zaidy's War here:

So that's what I want. I'm an easy person to please. So please please me, if you please. I am the birthday boy, after all, and you asked!
With love and gratitude,
Martin Bodek
